Spirituality Comes With a Price

People often ask me, “How are you all still standing?” Those who walk by sight and crunch numbers are befuddled as to why we at Artesian Well Church, are thoroughly prepared to advance the Kingdom of God. We do so by carefully arming ourselves with praise and worship, filling our spirit with the Words of Jesus, and by crying out to the Lord as we seek Him earnestly. The importance of winning the battle against the spiritual forces of evil is a necessary prerequisite for unlocking our spiritual sight (Ephesians 6:12).

Our Opponents: Demonic Spirits and Their Schemes

The spiritual battle with evil supernatural forces far surpasses all of our imagination. Satan’s subordinates come singly. The demons repeatedly scatter and reunite to attack according to the situation. The when one is chased away, by a prayer, the evil spirit moves on to the next target with teasing, poking, tempting and sometimes with whispers of sweet-talk, and finally, when their identity is exposed, the quickly run away.

Demonic Spirits Ever-Changing Appearances

Satan’s subordinates will appear before us in various appearances. Sometimes they would try to lure us by impersonating a famous entertainer, an innocent little child, a “Jesus”, or different religious leaders such as: Buddha, Mohammed, Dali Lama, Hinduism, etc. Also, Satan can masquerade as a beautiful angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). The come to frighten you. Snakes, dragon’s bats, ghost of your family, horse heads, skulls, etc.

The Lord’s Method of Confrontation: Our Weapons are Mighty Through God

During these battles, it may seem that Jesus is sometimes silent. Nevertheless, He ever faithful! He is watching over His Word in us. He is supplying all that we need and granting us access to the host of heaven. This authority has been given by our precious Lord is to ensure our transformation into the church of overcomers instead of being helpless children. After understanding Christ’s Logic, we at Artesian Well are contending against the dominion of evil. Evil will NOT prevail in the land God has put Artesian Well Church!

Praying in Tongues…One of Our Secret Weapons

You can pray longer, more earnestly and much deeper this way. Praying in your Heavenly language helps you concentrate and consequently, there are incredible abilities that are made available to us, such as our spiritual sight. Therefore, speaking in tongues is not for conversing with men, but it is our soul speaking the secrets of our spirit directly to God (1 Corinthians 14:2).

When Your Spiritual Eyes are Opened…Demonic Spirits will Confront You

The process of unlocking the spiritual sight of an individual is not only arduous, but one must be able to see spiritually in order to overcome many obstacles. Amongst the many barriers, or gates, is Satan and his demonic principalities. Their job is to interfere with and hinder the process of spiritual sight and revelation of the believer.

The devil has no sympathy for the young in age or the physically ill. Instead, he will continually scratch and tear us down until we are exhausted with disgust and because of the stress, many will quit. Therefore, if you are carelessly absentminded and inadequately equipped by sitting under weak teaching, you will pay dearly. You must be prepared for a barrage of counter attacks by Satan.

God has not Given us the Spirit of Fear

Child of God, as you have read a little of our testimony, I hope that it encouraged you to continue to stand and pursue your purpose from God. As I often remind those who read my messages, keep your armor on, and allow the mind of Christ to be in you. He is not afraid, He’s not broke, tired or scared. He left us with the precious Holy Spirit to echo Him, and manifest the power of our living God through us. He’s not going to work around us or outside of His Word, so we have to be mindful abide in Him, and let His words abide in 

us.
