Disobeying the Commands of Christ
And then
I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;
depart from
Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
I would like to think that
some would take this as a warning, and get right with God and their (your)
purpose, call and assignment.
Very, Very, Important…
The Apostle Paul intimates in
the following Scriptures, that not to walk after the tradition received from
him and not to obey the Word contained in his epistles, is the same as
disobedience to the commands of Christ. As such involves the forfeiture of
Church fellowship and its privileged tokens, which also includes The Lord’s
supper. The offender is not excluded from Christian fellowship, but rather is
still counted as a brother.
1 Corinthians 14:37 KJV
37 If any man think himself to
be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I [Paul]write
unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
2 Thessalonians 3:6, 11, 14 KJV
6 Now we
command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw
yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the
tradition which he received of us.
11 For we
hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all,
but are busybodies.
14 And
if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no
company with him, that he may be ashamed
15 Yet
count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Let’s go on from here, and
discuss what would be the right heart there must be, which is indispensable to
faith and so the knowledge of God. Can there be any (theologia irregenitorum[1])
or Theology of the Unregenerate? Well, the answer is, yes. Just as the blind
man can have a science of optics. The testimony of other gives it claims upon
him; the dim light penetrating the obscuring membrane corroborates this
testimony, this is an unregenerate[2]
man (unrepentant).
But this is not a knowledge of
God’s inmost character; it furnished some material for a defective and ill-proportioned
theology; but is does not furnish fit or sufficient material for a correct
theology. The ability to live by faith becomes less and less important.
Therefore a doctrine has to be developed
that covers few points that simply goes
from water baptism to resurrection, and very little between. You find in most
cases, Theology today lays on the foundation of race, culture, opinions, etc.
What we see in churches today are flagrant in emotion, entertainment and guilt.
In the capacity of the human mind for knowing God,, they only know Him by the
knowledge of substance. The baptism of the Holy Spirit will become the evidence
that God is more than an external substance.
The authority of faith is the
revelation of God. Faith in this revelation is Faith in Christ the Revealer. It
puts the soul in connection with the source of all knowledge and power. There
are groups today that want this power, but would desire it through other means.
They would try to develop it by Satanic powers—they want the soul to process
the same power that only a regenerated spirit by Christ has access to.
Faith is in fact, Christ
Logic. Knowing that from the beginning of your walk with the Lord, the logical
thing to do is to let Christ walk your walk, talk your talk, think with your thoughts.
Work out things in your life that without Him would be impossible to work
through. Christ needs the cooperation of
your intellect, affection, and will. A totally self-surrendered will is the
all-inclusive and most important of all elements of life in the Christ Logic.
Hebrews 12:28-29 NKJV
28 Therefore,
since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by
which we may[a] serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a
consuming fire.
Hebrews 1:7 NKJV
7 And of the angels He says:
“Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of
fire.”[a]

| God’s ministers being a flame of fire means that they are to be so full of Holy Spirit Zeal and the anointing of the Spirit Revelation that nothing can stand before them. |
Gospel ministers
are to have absolute authority and power over all works of the devil. These ministers represent God among men, as
exemplified by Christ, the apostles and every believer.
I pray I have stirred you up
to pray earnestly to walk in the supernatural authority our mighty God has
bestowed through Christ Jesus. This is the law of the righteous, the walk by
faith that He ordered. Walking by faith with your eyes on Christ, you will
never have to worry about the traps the enemy may lay, for your Heavenly Father
has no darkness in Him. He will not lead you astray.

Degenerate: To decline in mental or moral qualities. This man can know God as a
power of justice, and can fear Him.
