The Value of Faith (Part 2)
Nowhere in the Old and New Testaments is ever a shadow of doubt as to the deity of Christ in the Godhead. As the Word who was in the beginning was God, and all the way through to the Holy Spirit is God eternal. Jesus is that life that switches a man from death to eternal life walking on Earth. Working the same works that God worked through Jesus Christ so that man, woman, boy, or girl can work the glory that was passed on. The expressed same will, mind, and presence that the Lord Jesus worked out in divine purpose. Everything Jesus did and worked out was to represent God's point about who man was created to become.
The only man to make that happen from the time Adam fell into sin was Jesus Himself. Jesus is the last Adam-- the second man. The only man to walk this earth to change man's condition from complete failure to a God man able to stop the devil in his tracks, and to terminate the devil's plans wherever he tried to get started. We didn't have what it took to fight against a supernatural evil enemy, until Jesus by the Holy Spirit regenerated our dead spirit to give it the power to receive the atonement. This is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, and also infused us with the blood of Jesus Christ.
Only a fool thinks he can go it alone without God in him and he in God. God has placed immense power in His Body, the Church, and in the hands of His ministers to do His purposes. Think for a moment, have you ever seen an alcoholic horse, a chicken smoking cigarettes, or a hummingbird over eating? Why then should we have these problems? Without the Holy Spirit guiding us we can't avoid having these problems which can and should be avoided.
We are seeing more and more anti-Christ's in the Church rising up. At first a little unbelief digs at the Gospel, then we see those who think the writings of the Letters and Epistles of the Apostles are hateful and full of error. There has been strong emphasis that the writings of Peter, Paul, and John and the whole idea that sin should be changed has been expressed and communicated openly with regularity.
Satanism is on every station on the television. Sexism is used in the media and is featured on shows to children. Racism is at an all-time high. People are presented on television shows in the most demeaning ways. In sports, it's off the charts. You would say what does that have to do with faith. It has everything to do with it. Faith, the God quality kind of faith, must work and have a commitment to holiness, righteousness, and bible morality as goals. It is not about just getting material things and money.
Man in many places has lost his way. For the first-time in human history, there is too much social information. It is drowning out the voice of reason, and morality. Jesus is the truth about both God and man. Any and all that needs to be known about God and Man can be found in Christ Jesus. The Godhead holds all that any person needs to know about God's plan for man. We beheld His glory, the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Anything you and I can ever know is all in the Man, Christ Jesus.
Jesus knowing He was God set aside that godliness to take on human flesh to show how a true God man should conduct himself. True faith is man allowing God to be God in him. Man was created to be the truth about God. Jesus is the truth about God and Man. Is this too much to understand? Jesus came not just to get man into heaven, but really to get heaven into man. I think we will all be shocked to find out where heaven really is located.
God said let us make man in our image. God had a plan that He could have a profound effect on man in man's totally. Spirit to spirit. Thus training the soul by the Word of His power to effect the very nature of the soul. Without violence to His precious will. Removing the corrupt decline of the body, therefore making the body function the way it was designed to function. A God man function.
