The Nature of Faith

Let’s look again at man.  When Jesus Christ came into this world he didn’t come to be a superman let alone a superstar.  He came to be a man, a just man.  He never could have done as the creator, so He came as a man.  He took on the role of the creature.  It was His desire in all points to be like His new brethren.  He assumed our flesh and blood.  He walked this earth with our body.  He talked with our tongue.   He possessed a soul like yours and mine with a mind, emotion, and a will plus a spirit waiting to be activated by His supernatural power.

He didn’t have to do it the way He chose to do it.  He became the last Adam; the second man.  He didn’t have anything more going for Him than you and I.  A part from His sinless humanity marvelously conceived, and fashioned in the virgin womb of a girl presented with that little baby’s body.  The difference being He was unencumbered by sin and only inhabited by God.  Everything that is going for Him now is also going for us now.  The emphasis of the Gospel is to get men out of Hell and into Heaven but equally important and not necessarily emphasized (or taught) is the need to for Heaven to be placed in men.  The Gospel is really concerned with getting God out of Heaven and into man.  This is not a placement in man without any corresponding response by man.  God’s concern is to demonstrate His will and power with authority to defeat all the enemies any and everywhere they come against His purposes.  It took from Jesus exactly what it takes to make a true Christian.  Anything less would be incomplete and anything more would be too much.
So now, what is the seal of your redemptive relationship to God through Jesus Christ?  What is your validation that you have been accepted in the ranks of the beloved, and your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life?  The answer has to do with the fact that in the person of the Holy Ghost the whole Godhead has to take up residence within your humanity.  You are the temple of the earth of the whole heaven on earth.  We are a fit representation of God through His Spirit.  So if the Godhead is a part of our humanity in the same way the Father inhabited Jesus’ humanity, then how much less is going for you and me than for Him (Jesus)?  The glorious Lord who imparts to us all the power and authority that is needed to do the work of ministry, and life itself.

In terms of our position in Christ and the Godhead, one has to rethink issues of life such as poverty and how we have accepted it and the shame that we live in self imposed poverty.  Waiting on the government decree to assign to us the right to live a level decided for us.  You must always be put in memory of who Jesus in you.  Man should step up and be man as God intended us to be.  We need to stop looking for handouts from the world.
Jesus is the truth about God, because He is the truth about the God quality man.  He was created to be the truth about God.  With respect to you and I, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.  What is glory?  Short of that expression of God’s character that gives all creation the right to look at man and see what God looks like.  This is glory.  It is the utter likeness, the complete expression of the unblemished likeness of God Himself.  God’s problem with us is that after all He has done to bring to us this glory we are still falling short of it.  We still want to struggle with the temptations to miss the mark as an archer might miss the target.
The third chapter of John talks about the moral law, and how we think that because in some things we are spiritual, and forgiven we don’t have to be moral.  Jesus did not have moral problems.  This is where we get stopped.  We must get past his to get to that glory that we must attain.  We can do this by living by extreme no holds barred Faith.  To imitate God as dear children, we must live by faith.  For without faith it is impossible to copy Him.  God said this I as God created you in My image, and creation and have not lied about it.  This means living a life which one doesn’t lie, steal, have sex out of marriage, have sex with the same gender, do not kill, etc…When looking at you, and listening to you, others will see and hear what God is like.  One of the things He really doesn’t like is you telling lies about Him when He died, and rose again to completeness.
Everything said, and completed by Jesus is available to us to use, and to have.  Your new birth is a special compliment that only happens because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  So what is sin?  Telling lies about God is sin.  Saying who He is not, and what He cannot do for the believer.  Sin is showing a nasty character about the real thing.  Some of us are just a cheap imitation of the real thing.  Some live a saved life but are looking to find a loophole in the contract.  This too is sin.
Talking on the telephone, or even worse Facebook, Twitter, etc…spreading lies, backbiting and say praise the Lord and God understands this is sin.
Jesus told the truth about God at all times to anyone who would listen.  He did so not because He was acting as God, but did so as a man living to represent God.  He was a God man.  The God He was willing to play the role as man.  He was man created by God the way man is to be.
