The Ground and the Seed

When I speak of the "ground" in relation to seed, I speak referring to our knowledge of seed.  Seed is the word planted in something that is stable and rich.  In a believer, ground is the character, the stable and rich soil that allows the seed to manifest and develop.  Everything a believer receives, especially pertaining to God, is seed.  Yet, if the character is corrupt, then the seed is useless.  One must deal with the ground before you can plant the seed. It's very complicated today because many do not have a strong foundation regarding what is Right and what is Wrong.  Basically, the concept of right and wrong thinking is warped.  On such topics as poverty, lack, money race, education, morality, and immorality: (a) Could you despite the labels stand with God? (b) Could you identify the difference and make a right decision?   The Word of God is designed to make it right.  The very first two books I ever read even before I g...

Discipline for Immorality: Useless Bishops and Apostles Today in Title Only!

Immorality in churches is growing the more we change generations, and due to the lack of teaching in the home about what is right, and wrong (evil).   Would it be wrong to say to your kids what you see around you is not the real way to go?   Let's look at the war going on in the media versus the Church.   The Church is depicted as the evil power that needs to stay in its place.   In many ways, it is the topic of jokes, and ministers are made to be nothing more than con artists selling a message of tolerance, high living and many sexual activities that occurred in a dysfunctional sitcom.   In the instance of immorality in the Corinthian Church, there was an open case of incest, and there was no necessity of special discernment such as Peter exercised in the matter of Ananias and Sapphira.   It was in fact a flagrant violation of common decency in which a man was consorting with his father's wife. If this were allowed to go unpunished the exa...

An Artesian Well

An Artesian Well is a pump-less “water source” that uses pipes to allow underground water that is under pressure to rise to the surface. This type of well seems to defy gravity because the pressure that builds up between layers of rock gets relieved when water finds a path to the open air.  In addition, the water has been naturally filtered because it passes through porous rock as it seeps into the earth to reach the aquifer, which is the underground water source. For centuries, people have drilled artesian wells to drink filtered water that doesn't need to be manually or mechanically hauled up from the depths. Porous stone is sandwiched between a top and bottom layer of an impermeable substance, such as clay, soil or shale rock. This keeps the water pressure high, so that at a point below the entryway of the flow, there is enough pressure to bring the water up when the pressure is released. Natural springs form in the same way when a gap in the impermeable rock perhaps triggere...

Holiness Life: The Manifestations of Perverseness in the Church

Ephesians 4:17-19 Amplified Let’s look at and address how the unawareness of satanic or demonic possession is taking its toll on the church and around the world. I remember in the 70’s, there were those who thought that the charismatic movement was not of God. I use this example to explain why Satan and his demons have been successfully dominating the human race for years. Jesus’ ministry showed us that God sent him also to deliver man from all forms of demonic perverseness. In Jesus' time demons were successful in existing inside the mind and body of individuals. (Matthew 4:23-24, Hebrews 2:14-15) Demons had the ability to bring about many forms of sickness and disease. I think that the church today is more involved in mental and social development and the tolerance of all kinds of sin.  The church today for the most part also believes that by being understanding and patient with demons and demonic activity that the demons would get tired and leave man’s mind that was ...

Corrupt Word Taught by Corrupt People

We must remember on the day of Pentecost, in the upper room, the Holy Spirit Came Into All .  There is no place in the Bible where another Day of Pentecost was asked or sought.  We need to continue working with the Holy Spirit we have already received.  If we continue to use it, it can only get stronger.  The Holy Spirit doesn’t need to get stronger; we just need to use it every day. Are you reading these, I mean really reading these blogs? Read this.  What do you make of it when a preacher/teach planted seed; as it is scattered, some of it fell on the road, and birds ate it.  Some fell in the gravel, which sprouted quickly but did not put down roots; so when the sun came up it withered just as quickly.  Some fell in the weeds, as it came up, it was strangled among the weeds and nothing came of it.  Some fell on good earth and came up with a flourish, producing a harvest exceeding his wildest dreams. Through the Blog, I am commu...

Eschatology or the Doctrine of Final Things (Things to Come)

Neither the individual Christian character, nor the Christian church as a whole, attains its destined perfection in this life (Romans 8:24).  This perfection is reached in the world to come (I Corinthians 13:10). Eschatology is the study of the teachings of the Bible concerning the end times, and the period of time dealing with the return of Christ.   Eschatological subjects include the Resurrection, the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Millennium, the Binding of Satan, the Three witnesses, the Final Judgment, Armageddon , and The New Heavens and the New Earth. Clarity and comprehension regarding the Rapture and its implications to believers and those charged with its teaching is needed.  As stages in the future condition of men, there is to be an intermediate and an ultimate state, both for the righteous and for the wicked. If you believe these events are to come, then we as teachers are called to prepare saints for life, death, and life.  You can't bypass the teac...

Thou Art Worthy...(Part 2)

I always do those things which please him.  How often did the Lord Jesus do those things which pleased the Father?   ALWAYS!   That was the nature of the sinlessness of his humanity.  This was the character of his normality.  This was the perfect liberty of God’s son.  We say, I’ll do as I please, and imagine that represents the liberty we enjoy.  “School’s over, I’m not subject to my mom and dad, I’ll do as I please.”  That’s glorious liberty in our human connotation but that was not the liberty, the freedom that was enjoyed by Jesus.  The liberty that the Lord Jesus enjoyed an that liberty which he now gives to you and me was comprehended by the fact that the Lord Jesus was always at liberty to do only those things that pleased his Father.  That is freedom.  He said I've entered into no engagement, I've made no friendship, I've indebted myself to nobody, I’m under no obligation whatever to anybody, anywhere at any time that would...
